  • I don't like the choice of actress they chose to play her. Could have been worse sure, but it was poor. They clearly said, right, what person 'of colour' with a somewhat famous name can we get hold of? yeah she will do. I felt a lot of the characters were chosen or created based on their ethnicity or whatever social engineering target they were going for as opposed to their actual fitting in the Star Wars lore. Somewhat less blatant than the movies, but still a disappointment to real Star Wars fans, let's face it.

  • Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau are true fans of the mythos of Star Wars.. they know Star Wars and stay true to the essence of the fandom that has lasted generations.. If Disney had been wise they would have let them men direct the sequels instead of hiring directors that alienated the true fans that kept the franchise alive for so long. they would have produced such greatness that the franchise would have lasted decades more..

    • @Nerd Empire to be fair, it’s indeed a part of their fault because Abrahams copied the original trilogy and rian wanted to make something that was not Star Wars but it’s disney decision to switch the directors and their decision to begin the production of the movies before having a central plot to follow through the trilogy. Instead they went all random, changing the directors so getting the possibilities to have decent movies even less achievable
